Why is it important to accept that we have a problem?
Why is it important to turn to a psychologist when we have a problem?
People today are increasingly withdrawn when it comes to expressing or recognizing a problem. Statistically speaking, 5 out of 10 people do not differentiate between the psychologist and psychiatrist and feel an insult when they are proposed psychiatric or psychologic consult which is wrong! Even if we would not be talking about psychological or psychiatric problems, talking to a specialist can remove these causes from the start, the psychologist / psychiatrist can make a referral to neurology, genetics, and other specialties that can diagnose the disease and recommends the start of a treatment.
The first step in solving a problem is to identify its social nature, and trying to solve it either on their own or with professional help.
Our clinic wishes to acknowledge the importance of a good psychosomatic collaboration, meaning a proper functioning of both the body and the psyche, to create a perfect symbiosis.
Also we focus on educating for the purpose of accepting psychological problems (personality disorders, depression, and even communication needs unsatisfied in the family, circle of friends, society in general) and the importance of freedom of expression of a need, desire, without repercussions such as missed acts, dreams / neurotic states, inefficiency and incapability of social integration.
